The Yue Lao Hall will be closed from March 17 for the new hall construction
The "Statues of Yuelao and Couples" were established in 2011 with the intention of blessing the good fortune of worshippers and wishing all lovers in the world to be married. Over the years, the Yuelao Hall has been warmly welcomed by devotees from various places, including local, national, and international visitors. However, due to years of use, the hall's facilities have gradually aged. In response to requests from devotees, the Yuen has decided to rebuild a new hall on the original site of the Yuelao Hall at the Fung Ming Hall Plaza, in order to provide a better environment and experience for worshippers. Construction is scheduled to commence on 17 March and is expected to be completed by late-November 2025.
During the construction period, the Yuelao Hall will be temporarily closed for worship, commencing from Monday, 17 March until the completion of the new hall. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Ho Chung Integrated Home Care Services

Ho Chung Integrated Home Care Services started providing services since mid June 2022. It provides home-based community care services in Shamshuipo.


Scope of Services

  • Home Support Services
  • Integrated Home Care Services - Frail Cases

Target Groups

  • Elderly persons1: refer to people aged 60 or above who are assessed to be at the state of mild impairment or requiring higher level of care under interRAI™ Check up (CU) assessment tool or assessed and recommended for Home Support Services under the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services;
  • People with disabilities or individuals and families with social needs

1Urgent elderly cases when the completion of interRAI™ CU assessment before admission to service is not possible or elderly cases who cannot pass the interRAI™ CU assessment but with strong social needs can also be admitted to service with justifications.

Application

Elderly persons: visit our Unit in person or call us or be referred by the Social Welfare Department or other agencies.

People with disabilities or individuals and families with social needs or their carers may approach rehabilitation service units (e.g. District Support Centre for Persons with Disabilities, Integrated Community Centre for Mental Wellness) or casework service units (e.g. Integrated Family Service Centres / Integrated Services Centres, Medical Social Services Units) which will assess the applicants’ needs and make referrals for Home Support Services if considered suitable.
