Ho Hing Health Care Services Centre
Ho Hing Health Care Services Centre has been providing healthy and meaningful social activities for the elderly in the district since its establishment in 1994. The regional services of Sik Sik Yuen were reorganized in 2003 to match the needs of the community and development of the Yuen’s services. Ho Hing Elderly Social Centre was subsequently renamed to Ho Hing Health Care Services Centre (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen). In addition to providing social activities for the elderly in the district, it also provided health exercises and Chinese medicine visit services. In October 2013, the centre became an approved service provider for the first phase of the Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly, providing day care center and home care services for the elderly with satisfactory results. In October 2016, the centre became an approved service provider for the second phase of the Community Care Service Voucher for the Elderly, providing more flexible community care services. The environment and facilities of the centre were comprehensively improved after the renovation works on the centre were completed in 2018. In addition to promoting the work of the health care services centre, it fully expanded its self-financing day care center and home care services to strive to provide more diversified services for the elderly in the district.
