2011年12月10日，香港上空出現了近年最美麗的一次月全食。嗇色園主辦可觀自然教育中心暨天文館繼2011年6月的月全食後，再一次舉行網上直播及觀星樂活動，當晚中心接待了100名天文愛好者，利用天文望遠鏡觀察月全食。
