Cultural Affairs
In order to promote Sik Sik Yuen’s Confucianist, Buddhist, and Taoist ideology and culture, as well as preserve the Wong Tai Sin Belief and Customs in Hong Kong, which has been inscribed onto the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China, Sik Sik Yuen established Culture Committee in 2018 aiming to focus on the promotion of the Yuen’s cultural affairs through various cultural lectures, exhibitions, books and cultural relics. With the support of the Yuen’s Chairman, Abbot, committee members and like-minded individuals, the Committee’s various cultural activities have been carried out smoothly which helps achieve diverse cultural development, and fully commit to promoting the inheritance of the Wong Tai Sin Belief and Customs.
SikSikYuen is honored to have renowned cultural scholars from Hong Kong serving as consultants to the Culture Committee (2024-2026) to support the promotion of cultural affairs at the Yuen. These esteemed scholars include:
