嗇色園黃大仙祠創壇至今，已歷一百零五載，香火綿延，道脈深長。本園一直秉承黃大仙師「普濟勸善」之寶訓，除了宣揚道法、廣渡有緣善信外，更致力於香港社區的各項社會善業，踐行濟世利人的精神。

現誠意公開招募新會員（普通會員），歡迎各界有志學習道教文化、誠心向道，且熱心公益的人士申請加入，通過考核及參與皈依科儀，成為本園道侶。

2011年12月10日，香港上空出現了近年最美麗的一次月全食。嗇色園主辦可觀自然教育中心暨天文館繼2011年6月的月全食後，再一次舉行網上直播及觀星樂活動，當晚中心接待了100名天文愛好者，利用天文望遠鏡觀察月全食。

Result Announcement of the Sik Sik Yuen 90th Anniversary Astronomical and Meteorological Photo Contest
為了喚起大眾關注人類行為對環境帶來的破壞，已嚴重影響大自然美麗動人的景緻，本園早前舉辦了「天空之情」全港學界天文及氣象攝影比賽，藉此鼓勵青年人透過親身接觸大自然，仔細觀察浩瀚天穹，從而提升保育環境的意識，培養愛護自然的美德。
